SUMMARY
In 2023, ChatGPT and other forms of “generative AI” took the world by storm.  “AI” (artificial intelligence) had been a buzz word for awhile, but it felt like a sea change.  Suddenly the world was “talking” to a computer and it felt like the computer had an intelligent response and was “thinking” new thoughts.  Now it seems like every day there is a new development – pictures, video, music, and speech, all “created” from plain text prompts.  Are we headed toward a new era of productivity or massive job replacement and a deep fake reality? Some of your people are excited, others are scared.  This session will help you separate the buzz from reality, and begin the process of educating yourself and your workforce about the benefits and drawbacks of this new “generative AI” technology in the workplace.  Don’t write your “ChatGPT policy” until you’ve been to this session!
KEY TAKEAWAYS
