Prepare for Your SHRM Certification with Support from GVF
Are you preparing for the SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP exam? The SHRM Greater Valley Forge Certification Resource Group provides guidance, shared resources, peer support, and encouragement to help you stay on track.
Whether you are exploring certification, beginning your preparation, or already scheduled to test, you are welcome to participate.
The Resource Group complements your individual exam preparation. It is a support and resource-sharing group, not a formal certification preparation course.
Fall 2026 Meeting Schedule
The Fall Resource Group will support HR professionals preparing for SHRM’s winter testing window.
Format: Virtual
Time: 12:00 to 1:00 p.m.
Schedule: First Tuesday of each month
- Tuesday, September 1, 2026
- Tuesday, October 6, 2026
- Tuesday, November 3, 2026
- Tuesday, December 1, 2026
- Tuesday, January 5, 2027, if needed
Each meeting provides an opportunity to:
- Ask questions and discuss preparation strategies
- Explore available study resources
- Share challenges and progress
- Connect with other HR professionals preparing for certification
Winter Testing Window
The 2026–2027 testing window for the SHRM-CP and SHRM-SCP exams is December 1, 2026, through February 15, 2027.
- Early-bird applications: June 3 through August 31, 2026
- Standard applications: September 1 through December 24, 2026
